Run the day in BBS.

Customers and vehicle history, service prices and durations, scheduling and walk-ins, job notes and inspections, line-item invoices, stock, staff permissions, time clocks, breaks, job timers and reviewed timecard exports. Payroll preparation adds a gross-pay worksheet using reviewed attendance and your rates. Save reviewed versions, reopen them later and export a CSV for your chosen payroll process.

Your plan’s staff seats still apply. Connecting your own Square account is included; Square processing fees and optional payment hardware are separate.

Choose the service you actually need.

Payroll preparation is built in: Timecards, breaks and the gross-pay worksheet need no payroll subscription. You or your payroll professional handle withholding, deductions, filings and payment. The worksheet is not a full payroll engine or pay stub.
Customer conversations stay in BBS: On Complete Business, your customer portal does not need an SMS subscription. Manual texts can use your existing authorized business phone and its plan. Automated texts to phone numbers need a carrier connection; the optional add-on below adds replies and delivery tracking.
Booking and reminders use your BBS calendar: No separate scheduling subscription is required. Customers can download an appointment and add a reminder in their calendar app at no extra BBS charge. This calendar copy does not automatically sync later changes. Online booking follows your BBS plan. Email and SMS delivery use the channels your business has enabled, with their applicable provider costs.
Invoices and checkout are BBS features: You can manage your invoices and records here. Processing a card or moving money still uses your connected payment provider, which charges its own processing fees. A paid Square software plan is not required just to connect payments.

Square’s full-service subscription provides payroll processing, direct deposit, payroll tax calculation and filing, and employee payroll access. Optional benefits, insurance and mailed tax forms have separate provider charges.

Automated customer texting

Use a dedicated business number for service updates, appointment reminders and customer replies.

Toll-free SMS: $0.0055 per segment, each direction, plus carrier fees

Telnyx bills your business directly. The BBS connector has no additional subscription charge on an owner-portal plan.

Standard toll-free number: from $1.10/month

$1 number rental + $0.10 messaging capability. Standard toll-free verification is $0. Premium 800 numbers have different charges and commitments.

Local-number SMS is $0.004 per segment in each direction, plus carrier fees. Local business texting also requires paid 10DLC registration and campaign charges.

Local-number registration fees

$4.50 brand registration and $15 per campaign review. Approved low-volume mixed campaigns are $1.50/month; standard campaigns are $10/month. Telnyx charges the first three campaign months initially. Other campaign types and resubmissions can cost differently; eligibility must be confirmed.

The provider’s documented minimum account payment is $10. It funds your provider balance; it is not an extra BBS fee or a promise of a fixed number of messages.

There is no fixed all-in monthly SMS price. Your selected number, approved registration, message segments, destination carriers and taxes determine the provider bill.

Requirements and separate costs

Owner, Connected or Complete plan; a funded customer-owned Telnyx account, approved US sender, protected connection and customer messaging permission. Public online booking requires Connected or Complete.

Number rental, carrier charges, usage, registration and applicable provider taxes are separate. Calls, bulk marketing and MMS are not included. Live sending waits for verified setup and explicit activation.

Choose it. Review it. Then activate it.

Open the add-on inside your business. Use an existing provider account or follow the provider’s account-creation steps.
Review the provider’s exact current charges and complete required identity, bank or sending-number verification.
Connect the correct business account. BBS checks the connection, permissions and required setup before offering activation.
Approve the specific service. Payroll runs require your final Square review; automated messages require both your activation and the customer’s permission.

Selecting a feature does not buy a number, start payroll billing or send a message. Provider costs are separate from the BBS founding-business free month.
