The Website, Owner Portal, Website + Owner Portal and Complete Business packages on Plans apply to new proposals. Existing signed agreements are not changed by this page. Selecting a package creates a proposal only. Approved BBS service invoices can be paid through secure Square checkout. Free manual starter drafts never convert automatically to paid subscriptions. Optional AI generation, edits and images follow the customer credit terms shown before use.

Setup and acceptance

Before paid setup, both parties review the exact products, deliverables, provider costs, timeline and total price. Standard website setup includes up to five pages, ten customer-supplied images and two revision rounds. Portal setup follows the selected package scope. Extra work requires a written price and your approval. Delivery dates depend on receiving accurate content, access and approvals. Monthly service begins on the agreed activation date after the working scope is reviewed, not when a draft is created.

Fees, changes and cancellation

Prices are USD before applicable tax. New standard plans are month to month, with no annual commitment or exit fee. Request cancellation or a plan change through BBS Help; include your business and requested effective date. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period. We confirm the end date in writing. No upgrade, add-on, domain renewal or provider purchase happens without an exact cost review and approval. Price changes require at least 30 days’ notice before renewal; you may cancel first.

Refunds and service problems

Before setup work begins, the setup fee is refundable. After work begins, only completed work within the approved scope is earned; the unused portion is refunded. If BBS cannot deliver the agreed scope, undelivered work is refunded. Monthly fees cover the current service period and are not normally prorated for voluntary cancellation. Billing errors, undelivered service and mandatory legal remedies are reviewed separately. Report a problem through Help so we can repair it or agree a refund. Nothing here restricts rights that cannot legally be waived.

Your content and your exit

You retain your business content, customer records and domain ownership. You may export your records and a static website backup at no BBS export charge. Store the export securely: it can contain customer information. A static export needs a new host; forms, login, portals and integrations need replacement services. BBS’s private prompts, agent logic, credentials and server software are not licensed for download or transfer.

Before cancellation, export your data and arrange domain/email changes. Request assisted transfer at the published hourly rate only if needed; self-service export is free. Your exit confirmation states the hosted-service end date and available recovery window. Cancellation alone does not immediately erase records. Deletion requests require identity checks and are subject to required records retention. If your signed agreement explicitly selects the 30-day recovery policy, business content and files become eligible for automatic deletion after that window. Older agreements keep their original policy. Billing, security and deletion receipts may be retained; provider backups follow their own expiry schedules. A preservation hold pauses cleanup. Export before your recovery deadline and keep independent backups.

Domains, email and paid providers

Connecting an owned domain is different from buying or renewing a domain. Catalog versions 2026-09-28-2 and 2026-10-01-1 include one standard first-year registration up to $25 in setup; premium names and excess cost require a separate approved quote. BBS allocates up to $25 of collected setup proceeds as its first-renewal reserve. Starting in year two, the approved annual renewal is divided across twelve monthly payments in addition to the base service fee. There is no separate BBS renewal charge for a domain you renew directly. An unspent reserve is not proof of registrar payment; no unfunded purchase or renewal is authorized. Registration stays in your name. Existing signed agreements retain their domain terms. Email forwarding routes selected addresses to a verified inbox; it is not a mailbox or permission to send from that address. Full mailboxes and outbound email require supported provider activation and an approved quote. We preserve existing mail routing until a change is agreed. Delivery and inbox placement cannot be guaranteed.

Included built-in writing does not require a paid AI call. Paid AI, rendering, SMS and other metered services require applicable customer credits and verified provider coverage before execution. Unknown results reserve the applicable allowance for reconciliation rather than automatically repeating the action. No automatic top-ups or unlimited usage are included. BBS service fees are separate from the payments your own clients owe your business. Collection of your clients’ payments through BBS is not enabled. Automatic monthly card debits for BBS services are not enabled.
